The Alumni Association of the Agricultural University of Athens was founded in 2003 and consists of the Alumni of all Faculties, Departments and years of the Agricultural University of Athens (formerly the Higher School of Agriculture of Athens) (https://sagpa.gr/).
The creation of the Association arose mainly as a need to strengthen the bonds of contact and solidarity among the Alumni of the Agricultural University of Athens. The main objectives of the Association are to support the careers of the graduates, to connect them with the labor market, to promote the active participation and interaction of the graduates in the upgrading of the study programs, to inform students about their professional prospects, and to strengthen and highlight the multifaceted importance and role of the Agricultural University in the modern needs of society.
The Association's actions are to inform students about the agricultural profession and their careers, organize information days, alumni meetings, network alumni with businesses - the labor market, provide scholarships, organize educational trips, participate in information events, etc.
The Association seeks to maintain and further develop channels of continuous communication between the members of the Association and the Rectorate Authorities, the Collegiate Bodies, the members of the Faculty and teaching staff, the Liaison Office and the MODIP of the G.P.A., cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture, the GEOTEE and other Bodies of the Agricultural sector, the public and private sectors of education and society in general.
The Association was created out of the need to support the bonds of contact and solidarity between graduates and to strengthen their relationship with the Agricultural University. The main objectives of the Association are to support the careers of graduates, to connect them with the labor market, to promote the active participation of graduates in the upgrading of study programs and to highlight the multifaceted contribution of the Agricultural University to the modern needs of society.

The Association seeks to maintain and further develop channels of continuous communication between the members of the Association and the Foundation, the Rectors' Authorities, the Collective Bodies, MODIP, the Liaison Office, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Greek Agricultural Research and Development Organization, and other bodies in the agricultural sector, education and society in general.
